Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra was established in 1996. The orchestra includes more than 80 young musicians, aged between 10 and 20 years. The base of the orchestra consist of pupils of the Novosibirsk Specialized Music School (college). Among the members of the orchestra there are many international, all-Russian, and regional competitions. Vladislav Yankovsky the Honored Artist of Russia, the main conductor-leader of the orchestra since the beginning. The professional help for the young musicians of the and its main conductor, , professor , is very important.
