"NoMa" (North of Massachusetts Avenue) is a moniker for the area North of Massachusetts Avenue located north and east of Union Station in Washington, D.C., United States. NoMa includes the neighborhoods of Sursum Corda, Eckington, and Near Northeast and includes a section historically known as Swampoodle. NoMa includes: NoMa's southern tip at Union Station/Columbus Circle is a half-mile north of the United States Capitol Building. In 2020, the NoMa Business Improvement District put the neighborhood's population at 12,000, of which 6,400 lived in apartments.
