Nes is a former municipality in the old Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1899 until its dissolution in 1964. The 60-square-kilometre (23 sq mi) municipality encompassed the coastal land north of the Bjugnfjorden as well as the Tarva islands in what is now the municipality of Ørland in Trøndelag county. The administrative centre of Nes was the village of Nes where the Nes Church is located.
