Mount Kennedy is a peak in the Saint Elias Mountains within Kluane National Park, in Yukon, Canada. Its 4250-m to 4300-m (14000-foot) summit lies within 10 km of the Alaska Panhandle. Dusty Glacier lies against it to the north.

  • Mount Kennedy je hora v Pohoří svatého Eliáše v Kanadě. Její výška je mezi 4250 a 4300 m n. m. Pojmenována byla v listopadu 1964 po americkém prezidentovi Johnu Fitzgeraldu Kennedym, který byl přibližně rok předtím zavražděn. Prvovýstup na horu provedl Kennedyho bratr, rovněž politik, Robert Kennedy. Expedice byla sponzorována organizací National Geographic Society a kromě Kennedyho se jí účastnilo několik zkušených horolezců. Celou expedici vedl Jim Whittaker. Výstup provedli cestou od ledovce Cathedral. Později různí horolezci na vrchol vystoupili i složitějšími cestami. (cs)

Der Gipfel wurde im Januar 1965 von der kanadischen Regierung nach dem US-Präsidenten John F. Kennedy benannt. Der Mount Kennedy wird durch einen 3880 m hohen Sattel vom 5,94 km westlich gelegenen Mount Alverstone (4420 m) getrennt. Nördlich unterhalb des Gipfels befindet sich der Kennedy-Gletscher, ein Nebengletscher des Dusty-Gletscher. Die Südwestflanke wird vom Cathedral-Gletscher entwässert. Die Südostflanke wird zum Lowell-Gletscher hin entwässert. (de)
