| - La chorée fibrillaire de Morvan ou syndrome de Morvan est une maladie neuro-musculaire rare, auto-immune, caractérisée par la présence de nombreuses fasciculations douloureuses. Elle se traduit par des contractions musculaires du visage et de la langue, des faiblesses et des crampes dans les muscles principalement dans les membres inférieurs. Elle touche plus particulièrement les jeunes hommes. La maladie a été décrite le 12 avril 1890 par Augustin Morvan. Le terme « neuromyotonie » est également parfois utilisé pour la décrire, mais ce terme ne fait pas consensus. (fr)
- Zespół Morvana (ang. Morvan’s syndrome) – rzadka choroba autoimmunologiczna. Na obraz kliniczny zespołu składają się miokimie, skurcze mięśni, świąd, hiperhydroza, bezsenność i delirium. Przebieg choroby jest zazwyczaj przewlekły, z wielomiesięcznym lub wieloletnim początkiem. Około 90% pacjentów wchodzi w remisję, pozostałe 10% umiera. Obraz kliniczny przypomina mocno zapalenie układu limbicznego. Chorobę opisał Augustin Marie Morvan w 1880 roku jako "la chorée fibrillaire". (pl)
- متلازمة مورفان، أو رقاص مورفان الليفي (MFC)، هو مرض نادر من أمراض المناعة الذاتية سُمّي على اسم الطبيب الفرنسي من القرن التاسع عشر أوجستين ماري مورفان. أُطلق اسم «الرقاص الليفي» لأول مرة من قِبل مورفان في عام 1890 عند وصفه للمرضى الذين يعانون من تقلصات متعددة غير منتظمة في العضلات الطويلة والتشنج والضعف والحكة وفرط التعرق والأرق والهذيان. عادة ما تظهر ببداية بطيئة ماكرة على مدى شهور إلى سنوات.حوالي 90 ٪ من الحالات تصل إلى التعافي تلقائيًا، بينما 10 ٪ الأخرى من الحالات تؤدي إلى الوفاة. - Morvan's syndrome is a rare, life-threatening autoimmune disease named after the nineteenth century French physician Augustin Marie Morvan. "La chorée fibrillaire" was first coined by Morvan in 1890 when describing patients with multiple, irregular contractions of the long muscles, cramping, weakness, pruritus, hyperhidrosis, insomnia, and delirium.It normally presents with a slow insidious onset over months to years.Approximately 90% of cases spontaneously go into remission, while the other 10% of cases lead to death.
