The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (in French: Ministère de l’Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur, abbreviated as MEES) is the government ministry of Quebec that governs education, recreation, and sports. The minister is the individual who has the political responsibility for the regulation and oversight of educational services offered in the province as well as for the Ministry of Education.

En 2015, il est reconstitué en vertu du décret numéro 142-2015 sous le nom de ministère de l'Éducation, de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche (MEESR), et ce, par la fusion du ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) et du ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de la Science (MESRS). Entre 2016 et 2020, il prend le nom de ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur, en vertu du décret numéro 28-2016. En juin 2020, le ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur retrouve son autonomie et le ministère prend le nom de ministère de l'Éducation, en vertu du décret numéro 653-2020.
