Michael Cohrs (born 1956 in Midland, Michigan) is an American financier. He was Co-head of Corporate and Investment Banking and head of Global Banking (which comprises the mergers and acquisitions, global capital markets, coverage, commercial banking and global transaction banking businesses) at Deutsche Bank. He was also a member of the Group Executive Committee and the Management Board. He retired from Deutsche Bank in September 2010. In November 2009 Cohrs was appointed an adjunct professor at Peking University in Beijing. In January 2012 he was appointed as an advisor to EQT in Sweden.

Cohrs erwarb 1979 den B.A. am Harvard College und den M.B.A. an der Harvard Business School im Jahr 1981. Anschließend begann er seine berufliche Laufbahn bei Goldman Sachs in New York. Im Jahr 1989 wurde er nach London entsandt. Dort wechselte er im Jahr 1991 als Direktor zu S. G. Warburg & Co. Nachdem sein Unternehmen 1995 vom Schweizerischen Bankverein übernommen wurde, trat er im selben Jahr bei der Deutschen Bank ein, wo er eine führende Rolle beim Ausbau der Position einer international führenden Investmentbank spielte.
