Das Pro-Kopf-Einkommen als arithmetisches Mittel aller Einkommen bezogen auf die Bevölkerungszahl ist niedriger, weil ein Einkommen im Schnitt mehr als eine Person versorgt. Das mittlere Einkommen ist vom mittleren Vermögen zu unterscheiden.
