| - Maryamin (Arabic: مريمين, also spelled Mariamin or Meriamen) is a village in central Syria, administratively part of the Homs Governorate starting from 2008 after being part of the Hama Governorate, located in Homs Gap southwest of Hama. Nearby localities include Aqrab, Nisaf and Baarin to the north, Kafr Kamrah and Mashta al-Helu to the west, Shin, al-Shinyah and al-Qabu to the south, and Taldou and Tell Dahab to the east. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Maryamin had a population of 4,174 in the 2004 census. Its inhabitants are predominantly Alawites. (en)

- قرية «مريمين» تبعد حوالي 30 كم إلى الغرب من حمص وهي تتبع لمحافظة حماة وتبعد عنها حوالي 50 كم لكن منتصف عام /2008/ أصبحت ضمن الحدود الإدراية لمحافظة حمص وتقع على طريق مصياف. بلغ عدد سكانها 4174 نسمة في عام 2004 حسب إحصاء المكتب المركزي للإحصاء. يعمل قسم كبير منهم بزراعة الزيتون والكرمة واللوزيات وفيها معمل للصناعات البلاستيكية وتشتهر «مريمين» بخضرة أراضيها وتنوع أزهارها، بشكل عام الخدمات في القرية جيدة من ناحية الماء والكهرباء والصحة · اسم مريـمين: · في سنة 1844 م امتدت الحرب العشائرية التي اندلعت في صافيتا إلى مريمين وانتهت إلى رحيل آل البنّا من مريمين إلى نيصاف واغتيال الشيخ بدر الشامي في قرمص.
