Martin J. Marbach (born January 20, 1953) is a former men's college basketball head coach. He was the head coach at Canisius. Marbach attended Bishop Hannan High School, graduating in 1971. He graduated from Saint Francis College in 1975 with a degree in social studies. Marbach served as athletic director and basketball and soccer coach at Bellefountaine Immaculate Heart Seminary from 1976 to 1978. During the 1978–79 season he was an assistant basketball coach at Westfield State while earning his master's degree in sports management from the University of Massachusetts. Marbach joined Rollie Massimino's staff at Villanova in 1979. He was an assistant coach for the 1984–85 team that won a national championship. Marbach served as the recruiting coordinator at Villanova from 1985 to 1987.
