Marta Anna Wiecka (12 January 1874 - 30 May 1904) was a Polish Roman Catholic nun of the Vincentian Sisters. She assumed the name of "Maria" upon taking her vows. Wiecka worked throughout her life as a nurse in various hospitals in both Poland and in the Ukraine. Wiecka was beatified on 24 May 2008 after a singular miracle was attributed to her intercession. Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone presided over the beatification on the behalf of Pope Benedict XVI.
