Lynda Lee Kaid (August 22, 1948 – April 13, 2011) was a Professor of Telecommunication and Research Foundation Professor in the College of Journalism & Communications at the University of Florida and named by Communication Quarterly as one of the most productive scholars in the communication discipline. She authored more than 30 books and more than 200 peer reviewed articles and chapters on political communication and political advertising. She was a three-time Fulbright Scholar. Dr. Kaid was a University of Florida Research Foundation Professor.
