Em particular, refere-se ao sítio arqueológico onde se encontram os vestígios deste antigo povoado, no local conhecido como El Tossal de Manises, no bairro de Albufereta. (pt) Lucentum war eine antike Stadt im heutigen Spanien. Es handelt sich um die Vorgängersiedlung der heutigen Stadt Alicante. Die Reste von Lucentum liegen etwa 3 Kilometer nördlich des heutigen Stadtzentrums. Schon am Ende des 1. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. ist ein Niedergang zu beobachten. Im 3. Jahrhundert war die Stadt weitestgehend verlassen. Eine Besiedlung erfolgt erst wieder im 8. Jahrhundert durch die Mauren. (de) Η Λευκή Άκρα ιδρύθηκε το 325/4 π.Χ. από Έλληνες αποίκους στην νοτιοανατολική Ιβηρία, εκεί που βρίσκεται σήμερα το Αλικάντε. Πρέπει να κτίστηκε από την Μασσαλία, που την περίοδο εκείνη είχε προσλάβει στον στρατό της ορεσίβιους και σφενδονήτες για να εποπτεύουν τις κινήσεις των Καρχηδονίων στα νότια. Η πόλη ήταν γνωστή και ως Λευκή ακρόπολις, ονομασία που οφείλει σε κάποιο φυσικό της χαρακτηριστικό. Η ελληνική αποικία βρισκόταν στην φυλή των Κωντεστανών. (el)
