Luanco (Asturian: Lluanco) is the capital parish of the municipality of Gozón, within the province of Asturias, in northern Spain. The population is 5,693 (INE 2007). Luanco was an important fishing and whaling port. Currently, Luanco is a relevant tourist point in norther Spain, well known by its historic buildings (Santa María church, the Torre del Reloj or the Palace of Menéndez Pola), the beaches of Santa María and La Ribera and gastronomy as well.

La parroquia cuenta con una población de 5.767 habitantes, de los que 5.242 corresponden a la villa (2008). En el año 2005 el Consejo de Gobierno del Principado de Asturias declaró de forma oficial la denominación bilingüe Lluanco/Luanco para denominar a esta localidad. Está situado entre Candás y Avilés, a pocos kilómetros del Cabo de Peñas, que constituye el punto más septentrional del Principado. Fue villa principalmente pesquera, aunque en las últimas décadas se ha desarrollado gracias al turismo. (es)
