Loyd Hall Plantation is located in Cheneyville, Louisiana. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 29, 1977. Loyd Hall was built around 1820 by William Loyd, who was executed in the house by Union troops in 1864 on suspicion of being a double spy for both the Union and the Confederate States of America. He was tarred and feathered and then hanged in front of his home.
