Het was een relatief grote tentoonstelling, die bezoekers uit verschillende landen lokt. Het motto van LinuxTag was "where .COM meets .ORG", aangezien zowel verantwoordelijken van commerciële bedrijven als van non-profit en gemeenschapsprojecten aanwezig zijn. Hasłem przewodnim tej wystawy jest Where .com meets .org („Gdzie .com spotyka .org”), gdyż łączy ona w sobie przedstawicieli zarówno przedsiębiorstw handlowych, jak i organizacji non-profit.
