Weitere Missionen führten ihn nach Südafrika, Jugoslawien, erneut nach Griechenland, und nach Portugal. Sein letzter Posten war zuletzt zwischen 1952 und 1953 Botschafter der Vereinigten Staaten in Spanien war. (de)
