Lawrence "Laurie"/"Gilly" M. Gilfedder (15 May 1935 – 7 January 2019 ) was an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played club level rugby union (RU) for (in Walton, Warrington), and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain and Lancashire, and at club level for Warrington (Heritage № 533), Wigan (Heritage № 625), and Leigh (Heritage № 758), as a goal-kicking centre, second-row, or loose forward, i.e. number 3 or 4, 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums.
