Jürgen Haase (born 19 January 1945) is a former track and field athlete and Olympian, who, competing for East Germany, was among the world's best long distance track runners in the 1960s and 1970s. Twice during this period, in 1966 and 1969, he was European champion in the 10,000 meters.

Aunque inició su carrera como mediofondista, su gran resistencia hizo que poco a poco fuera orientándose hacia distancias más largas, acabando como especialista en la prueba de 10.000 metros. Sin embargo, sus orígenes mediofondistas le dejaron siempre un gran final que le hacía temible en carreras que se mantuvieran a ritmos medios. (es) Jürgen Haase (ur. 19 stycznia 1945 we Friedersdorfie, obecnie część Rückersdorfu) – niemiecki lekkoatleta reprezentujący NRD, specjalista biegów długodystansowych, dwukrotny mistrz Europy. Zwyciężył w biegach na 1500 metrów i 3000 metrów podczas pierwszych europejskich igrzysk juniorów w 1964 w Warszawie. Od 1965 trenował według metody Arthura Lydiarda, która nie była jeszcze popularna w Europie. Zwyciężył w biegu na 10 000 metrów i zajął 2. miejsce na 5000 metrów w finale Pucharu Europy w 1967 w Kijowie; ponownie zwyciężył na 10 000 m w finale Pucharu Europy w 1970 w Sztokholmie. (pl)
