The original music was written by Neapolitan composer Rodolfo Falvo (Naples, 7 July 1873 – Naples, 4 December 1937) in 1930; arrangement in US by Jack Val and Jimmy Dale; the original Neapolitan lyrics by Enzo Fusco, and English lyrics by Martin Kalmanoff and Sam Ward.
