  • "Johnny and Dora" is the twenty-third episode and season finale of the second season of the American television police sitcom series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It is the 45th overall episode of the series and is written by Luke Del Tredici and directed by Dean Holland. It aired on Fox in the United States on May 17, 2015. The show revolves around the fictitious 99th precinct of the New York Police Department in Brooklyn and the officers and detectives that work in the precinct. In the episode, Jake and Amy have to go undercover to catch an identity thief, an assignment that brings them uncomfortably closer. Meanwhile, Holt tasks Terry and Gina with retrieving a letter that could help him win against Wuntch and prevent him from getting the promotion. The episode was seen by an estimated 2.35 million household viewers and gained a 1.1/4 ratings share among adults aged 18–49, according to Nielsen Media Research. The episode received critical acclaim from critics, who praised Samberg's, Fumero's and Braugher's performances in the episode. (en)
