Joseph Grimond, Baron Grimond, CH, CBE, TD, PC (/ˈɡrɪmənd/; 29 July 1913 – 24 October 1993), known as Jo Grimond, was a British politician, leader of the Liberal Party for eleven years from 1956 to 1967 and again briefly on an interim basis in 1976. Grimond was a long-term supporter of Scottish home rule; and, during his leadership, he successfully advocated for the Liberal Party to support the abolition of Britain's nuclear arsenal.

Er war Sohn von Helen Lydia Grimond (geborene Richardson) und dem Jutefabrikanten Joseph Bowman Grimond. Sein Vater starb 1928. Grimond studierte dank eines Brackenbury-Stipendiums in Eton und am Balliol College, Oxford. Seine Fächer waren Rechts-, Staats- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften sowie Philosophie. Robert Birley gehörte zu seinen Lehrern. Er machte 1935 einen Abschluss als Barrister, wurde 1937 als Anwalt zugelassen. (de) Joseph Grimond est un homme politique britannique né le 29 juillet 1913 à St Andrews et mort le 24 octobre 1993 à Glasgow. Il appartient au Parti libéral, qu'il dirige de 1956 à 1967, puis au cours d'un bref intérim en 1976 à la suite de la démission de Jeremy Thorpe, pris dans un scandale judiciaire. Il est élu député à la Chambre des communes pour la circonscription d'Orkney and Shetland en 1950 et conserve son siège jusqu'aux élections de 1983, où il ne se représente pas.
