  • James C. Colver (born 1958) is an American politician from Alaska. A Republican, he is a former member of the Alaska House of Representatives, serving House District 9 from 2015 through 2016. He is also a former assemblyman for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Colver lost his bid for reelection in 2016 during the Republican primary. Colver mounted a successful primary challenge to incumbent Representative Eric Feige in 2014; the Chickaloon Republican finished third in the three-way primary election on August 19. He went on to defeat Palmer Democrat Mabel Wimmer and Constitution Party nominee Pam Goode of Delta Junction in the general election, finishing on top in another three-way contest. (en)
