| - La Copa Intercontinental fue un torneo cuatrienal (anteriormente bienal) entre los miembros de la Federación Internacional de Béisbol (IBAF). Se celebró por primera vez en 1973 en Italia. Como en muchas competiciones internacionales, fue dominada por Cuba, que ganó 11 de los 17 torneos, así como Japón, que ganó 12 medallas. A diferencia de la Copa Mundial de Béisbol, para la cual los equipos deben clasificarse, fue un evento solo por invitación, lo que llevó a la inclusión de algunos países que de otra manera no podrían probar un torneo global (por ejemplo, Hong Kong en 2010). En raison du succès croissant de la Classique mondiale de baseball, la dernière édition a eu lieu à Taïwan en 2010. Cuba s'est imposé devant les Pays-Bas dans une redite de la finale de 2006. - 인터콘티넨털컵(Intercontinental Cup)은 국제 야구 연맹이 후원하는 국제적인 야구 대회이다. 일반적으로 우리나라에서는 대륙간컵 야구대회로 불린다. 1973년에 이탈리아에서 1회 대회가 열렸고, 1999년까지 2년마다 한 번씩 열렸다. 2001년 대회는 2002년으로 연기되었고, 이후 대회는 4년마다 한 번씩 열리게 되었지만 국제야구연맹(IBAF)은 2010년 대회를 마지막으로 대륙간컵 대회를 폐지하기로 결정했다. 그 대신 21세 이하 월드컵 대회 개최를 연구하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. (ko)
- De Intercontinental Cup is een honkbaltoernooi tussen bij de wereldhonkbalbond IBAF aangesloten landen. De eerste editie werd in 1973 in Italië gehouden, daarna werd het toernooi tot 1999 om de twee jaar gehouden. Na 1999 werd het toernooi gehouden in 2002, 2006 en 2010. In 2010 werd het toernooi gehouden in Táijhong, Taiwan, maar de IBAF gaf al aan dat dit het laatste toernooi zou kunnen zijn. (nl)

Da allora si è disputato con cadenza biennale fino al 1999, poi dal 2002 è diventato a cadenza quadriennale. La nazionale che ha vinto più Coppe Intercontinentali è Cuba, che ne ha vinte 11. L'Italia, nel 2010, ha conquistato il suo primo podio in tale competizione, battendo 4-3 i padroni di casa di Taiwan. (it)

- The Intercontinental Cup was a baseball tournament between the members of the then-International Baseball Federation (IBAF). It was first held in 1973 in Italy, and was held every other year following until 1999. After 1999, the tournament was held every few four years—in 2002, 2006 and 2010. The tournament was dominated by Cuba which won 10 gold and 3 silver in 16 tournaments. The most recent tournament was held in 2010, in Taichung, Taiwan, and appears to have been the last time the tournament was held. (en)
