ITV was a television station in Thailand that was owned by iTV Public Company Limited, a unit of Shin Corporation. As Thailand's first UHF channel, the station was started in 1995 when the company was granted a 30-year concession by the Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office to operate a free-to-air television station in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) spectrum at 510-790 MHz (from Channel 26 to 60). After a lengthy dispute over unpaid concession fees to the Prime Minister's Office, the government's Public Relations Department took over the station in 2007. Its name was changed to Thailand Independent Television (TITV). Following a previously unannounced order of Thailand's Public Relations Department delivered the same day, the station closed on January 15, 2008.

(en) ITV は、(Indepedent Television の略)タイの民間のテレビ放送局。かつて1995年から2025年まで30年間に極超短波(UHF)の電波利用と経営の利権を首相府管轄次官事務所から取得されたiTV公開株式会社（iTVこうかいかぶしきがいしゃ）(iTV Public Company Limited)で運営された。1996年7月1日より放送開始。ニュース・ドキュメント番組中心に放送した。(その後、アジアドラマ、ゲーム番組等の娯楽やスポーツも放送)但し、2007年現在も利権で利用料金払い問題で放送終了し電波等で政府へ途中返上と利権も解約された。その後、首相府管轄広報局へ当局で移管し国有化されTITV (Thailand Indepedent Television)で改名となった。尚、2008年よりタイの独立法人 (TPBS-Thai Public Broadcasting Service)へ再度移管し公共放送化されTPBSで改名された。(現在、Thai PBSの局名となった)以上事項で旧運営者のITV会社ではテレビ事業も廃止され財務や法的整理だけしかなく過去問題対応会社となった。 (ja) iTV(ITV Public Company Limited, 태국어: สถานีโทรทัศน์ไอทีวี)는 태국에서 방송되었던 텔레비전 방송국이다. 약자인 ITV는 "Independent Television"을 의미한다. iTV의 모기업은 탁신 친나왓 전 총리가 설립하였던 Shin Corporation이었으며 지분 53%를 보유하고 있었으나, 이를 싱가포르의 국영 회사인 테마섹이 2006년 1월에 Shin Corporation의 주식 96%를 사들였다. 1995년 5월 9일에 설립되었고, 1996년 7월 1일에 첫 텔레비전 방송이 시작되었다. iTV는 태국에서 유일하게 정부 지분이 없는 완전한 민영 방송국으로, 방송 당시부터 젊은 층을 대상으로한 프로그램 등으로 인기를 끌었고, 한국 드라마를 잇달아 방송하는 등 태국 내에 한류 열풍에 영향을 끼쳤다. 탁신 정부 시절에는 2002년에 허가권료를 44%에서 6.5%로 삭감 받았고, 공익적 프로그램 비율도 70%에서 50%로 완화하는 등의 혜택을 받았다.
