The Grotte du Lazaret (English: Cave of Le Lazaret) is an archaeological cave site of prehistoric human occupation study, situated in the eastern suburbs of the French town of Nice, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.Results of excavations have been interpreted as to account for the construction of shelters by humans during the Lower Paleolithic period. Research teams have unearthed more than 20,000 fossilized faunal bone fragments.

Elle a été classée au titre des Monuments historiques par arrêté du 21 mars 1963. - Lazaret – jaskinia położona na zboczu góry nad brzegiem Morza Śródziemnego we francuskiej Nicei. Stanowisko archeologiczne okresu dolnego paleolitu. Jaskinia ma 35 m długości i szerokość 4-14 m. Została przebadana po raz pierwszy w 1879 roku przez , a następnie przez C.F.B. Octobona w latach 50. i 60. oraz i Marie-Antoinette de Lumleyów w połowie lat 60. XX wieku.
