The Great Bath is one of the best-known structures among the ruins of the Harappan Civilization excavated at Mohenjo-daro in Sindh, Pakistan. Archaeological evidence indicates that the Great Bath was built in the third millennium BCE, soon after the raising of the "citadel" mound on which it is located.

Площадь Большого бассейна составляла 12 на 7 метров и глубиной 2,4 метра. Сложен бассейн был из плотно подогнанных кирпичей и просмолённый для водонепроницаемости. Учёные долго не могли найти смысл такого бассейна так как практически в каждом доме была баня. Не найдя ответа учёные предположили что бассейн предназначался для ритуальных обрядов.
