Gene Walter Snyder (March 31, 1931 – June 2, 1996) was an American professional baseball player, a left-handed pitcher who appeared in 11 games for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball during the 1959 season. A native of York, Pennsylvania, Snyder was listed as 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and 175 pounds (79 kg). In his 11 big-league games, Snyder posted a 1–1 record and an earned run average of 5.47. In 261⁄3 innings pitched, he allowed 32 hits and 20 bases on balls, with 20 strikeouts. He finished two games without earning a save.
