The Garibaldi Theatre is a theatre in Piazza Armerina, Sicily, southern Italy. The theatre was built to the east of the town, close to the 14th century wall, opposite the church of St. Stephen. The exact date of construction is unknown, due to the destruction of pre-unification municipal records, but is thought to be about 1800. Following the collapse of the city walls in 1852 and the resulting damage to the theatre's façade, rebuilt the façade in a Renaissance style in 1902. It can house a total of 320 spectators. It is also operated as a cinema. The theatre is now licensed as a venue for civil weddings.

Il teatro con un'agibilità di 320 posti, ha un sistema teatrale così costituito: palcoscenico, boccascena, sala a ferro di cavallo con tre ordini di palchi e loggione. Oggi esso presenta in sostanza la stessa struttura di inizio secolo, tranne per le modifiche che hanno riguardato le attrezzature al servizio del palcoscenico, come i camerini (ricavati nelle abitazioni addossate al teatro posteriormente), i servizi igienici e l'adeguamento alle nuove norme di sicurezza. Le strutture in legno dei palchi sono state sostituite da altre in acciaio, ma le decorazioni dei parapetti e dei controsoffitti in legno, sono ancora quelle originali. E attualmente ospita rassegne teatrali, di musica jazz e classica, iniziative culturali e anche proiezioni cinematografiche. (it)
