Fernando Iglesias Calder贸n (30 May 1856 鈥 26 May 1942) was a Mexican liberal politician and diplomat who served as president of the extinct Liberal Party (1912鈥1915), represented Mexico City in the Senate (1912鈥1913 and 1920鈥1924) and, for three months, served as ambassador of Mexico to the United States (1920). Beside his political and diplomatic careers, he was also a writer and historian who inherited the military archive of Mariano Escobedo and authored several titles in a collection called Rectificaciones hist贸ricas (Historical Rectifications).

  • Fernando Iglesias Calder贸n (Mexico-Stad, 30 mei 1856 - aldaar, 26 mei 1942) was een Mexicaans politicus, diplomaat en historicus. Iglesias Calder贸n was de zoon van Jos茅 Mar铆a Iglesias, president van Mexico in 1876. In 1911 was hij namens de Mexicaanse Liberale Partij kandidaat voor het vicepresidentschap en een jaar later werd hij in de Kamer van Senatoren gekozen, waarvan hij voorzitter werd. In 1920 werd hij ambassadeur van Mexico in de Verenigde Staten en in 1923 werd hij opnieuw tot senator gekozen.
