Fares (Greek: Φαρές; Ancient Greek: Φαραί, romanized: Pharai; Latin: Pharae) is a village in the municipal unit of Farres, Achaea, Greek. It is located on the left bank of the river Peiros, 2 km southeast of Isoma and 17 km south of Patras. In 2011 Fares had a population of 466 for the village and 519 for the community, which includes the village Prevedos. Prevedos is on the Greek National Road 33 (Patras - Tripoli).

| - Οι Φαρές (επίσημα: Φαραί, παλαιά ονομασία: Λαλικώστα) είναι χωριό της Αχαΐας και ανήκει στην ομώνυμη τοπική κοινότητα του Δήμου Ερυμάνθου, σύμφωνα με τη διοικητική διαίρεση βάσει του Προγράμματος Καλλικράτης που ισχύει στην Ελλάδα από την 1/1/2011. Είναι μεγάλο χωριό, με έκταση ως κοινότητα 11.230 στρέμματα και η οποία αποτελείται από τους οικισμούς Φαραί και Πρέβεδος. Η κοινότητα είχε κατά την απογραφή του 2011 πληθυσμό 519 μόνιμους κατοίκους. Το χωριό βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 130 μέτρων. Εγγύς του βρίσκονται ο Πρέβεδος, το Ίσωμα, το Βασιλικό, το Αστέρι, το Σταροχώρι και η Δαφνούλα. Απέχει οδικώς περίπου 23 χλμ. από την πόλη της Πάτρας και 7 χλμ. περίπου από την Χαλανδρίτσα, έδρα του Δήμου Ερυμάνθου. (el)
