The European Internet Exchange Association, or Euro-IX, is an association of European Internet exchange points. It is a community-driven association serving European Internet exchange points and Internet service providers and the general IP community, including politicians, regulators, vendors, and other industry related sectors. Euro-IX is part of the global IX-F Internet eXchange Federation.

Die Organisation mit Sitz in London ist für Provider, Netzbetreiber und Internet-Knoten-Betreiber (Internet Exchange Provider, IXP) gedacht. Seit dem Beitritt des amerikanischen EQUINIX (2005) zur Euro-IX umfasst die Organisation 36 Mitglieder (IXPs), das entspricht ca. 50 % der europäischen IXPs. Euro-IX zajmuje się głównie koordynacją standardów technicznych w Europie, opracowywaniem wspólnych zasad działania, opracowywaniem i publikowaniem danych dotyczących peeringu, a także nawiązywaniem kontaktów pomiędzy punktami wymiany ruchu internetowego a dostawcami usług internetowych. (pl) Euro-IX (European Internet Exchange Association) is een Europese internet exchange. Euro-IX is de overkoepelende organisatie van Europese internet exchanges. Bij Euro-IX zijn onder anderen aangesloten AMS-IX, BNIX en LINX. Euro-IX zet zich in voor een open internet, waarbij gedacht kan worden aan het onderling delen van technologieën en ideeën voor een beter internet. In 1993 had de organisatie nog slechts 3 operationele leden. Anno 2012 was dit aantal gegroeid naar 146. Door de jaren heen hebben 27 van de aangesloten knooppunten hun activeiten gestaakt. (nl)
