Ephraim H. Hyde (June 1, 1812 – June 18, 1896) was an American politician who was the 53rd Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut from 1867 to 1869. He previously served as President pro tempore of the Connecticut Senate. A noted agricultural scientist, breeder of pureblood Devon cattle, school and prison reformer. Born, lived and died at Stafford, Connecticut.
