Elsa Alina Murano (née Casales; born August 14, 1959) is the former President of Texas A&M University. Dr. Murano currently serves as Director of the Norman E. Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture & Development at Texas A&M University's Agriculture & Life Sciences program, a position she has held since 2012.
