Edward Hull FRS (21 May 1829 – 18 October 1917) was an Irish geologist and stratigrapher who held the position of Director of the Geological Survey of Ireland. He was also a professor of geology in the Royal College of Science, Dublin. His dates are listed in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.

Er war Fellow der Royal Society (1867) und der Geological Society of London und Präsident der Royal Geological Society of Ireland (1873). 1890 erhielt er die Murchison-Medaille. Seit 1958 trägt der Hull Point seinen Namen, eine Landspitze von King George Island im Archipel der Südlichen Shetlandinseln (de)
