Edvaldo Valério Silva Filho (born April 20, 1978, in Salvador, Bahia) is a freestyle swimmer from Brazil. He competed for his native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. There, he was a member of the men's relay team that won the bronze medal in the 4×100-metre freestyle in Sydney, Australia, alongside Fernando Scherer, Gustavo Borges, and Carlos Jayme. He began his career in the pools of Salvador, where remained for many years. He was several times Brazilian champion in 50-metre, 100-metre and 200-metre freestyle.
