At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality Dropull. The population at the 2011 census was 2,100. The municipal unit is inhabited by ethnic Greeks.

Fino alla riforma amministrativa del 2015 era comune autonomo, dopo la riforma è stato accorpato, insieme agli ex-comuni di Dropull i Sipërm e Pogon a costituire la municipalità di Dropull. Il comune è abitato dalla minoranza greca d'Albania. Sinds de gemeentelijke herindeling van 2015 doet Dropull i Poshtëm dienst als deelgemeente en is het een bestuurseenheid zonder verdere bestuurlijke bevoegdheden. De plaats telde bij de census van 2011 2100 inwoners. (nl) Dropull i Poshtëm é uma comuna (em albanês: komuna) da Albânia localizada no distrito de Gjirokastër, prefeitura de Gjirokastër. (pt) Gmina Dropull i Poshtëm (alb. Komuna Dropull i Poshtëm) – gmina miejska położona w południowej części Albanii. Administracyjnie należy do okręgu Gjirokastra w obwodzie Gjirokastra. W 2011 roku populacja gminy wynosiła 2100 osób w tym 1056 kobiet oraz 1044 mężczyzn, z czego Albańczycy stanowili 2,33%, a Grecy 94,52% mieszkańców.
