Dhrol State was one of the 562 princely states of British India. It was a 9 gun salute state belonging to the Kathiawar Agency of the Bombay Presidency.Its capital was in the town of Dhrol, located in the historical Halar region of Kathiawar.
Dhrol (Gujarati ધ્રોળ રજવાડું Dhrōḷa rajavāḍuṁ) war ein Fürstenstaat Britisch-Indiens im Norden der Halbinsel Kathiawar im heutigen Bundesstaat Gujarat. Seine Hauptstadt war der Ort Dhrol. Das Fürstentum wurde 1595 von Thakur Sahib Hardholji, einem Bruder des Jam Rawal von Nawanagar aus der Dynastie der -Rajputen, gegründet. Dhrol war 1807–1947 ein britisches Protektorat. Es hatte 1921 eine Fläche von 732 km² und 24.000 Einwohner. Am 15. August 1947 wurde Dhrol Mitglied des Staatenbundes Saurashtra und am 15. Februar 1948 vollzog es den Anschluss an Indien (siehe Geschichte Indiens). Am 1. November 1956 wurden alle Fürstenstaaten aufgelöst und dem Bundesstaat Bombay einverleibt. Durch die Teilung von Bombay am 1. Mai 1960 kam Dhrol zu Gujarat. (de)

Dhrol fou un estat tributari protegit a l'agència de Kathiawar, regió de Gujarat, presidència de Bombai. Estava format per una ciutat (Dhrol) i 64 pobles el 1881 (67 el 1901) amb una superfície de 1036 km² i una població el 1881 de 21.777 habitants, el 1891 de 27.007 i el 1901 de 21.906 (per la fam de 1899-1900). La capital era Dhrol amb 4613 habitants el 1881 i 5660 el 1901. (ca)
