Dennis L. Via (born c. 1958) is a retired United States Army four-star general who last served as the 18th commanding general of the United States Army Materiel Command from August 7, 2012 to September 30, 2016. He is the first Signal Corps officer since General Henry H. Arnold to achieve four-star rank. He retired from the army on September 30, 2016 after over 36 years of service.

Dennis Via ist der Sohn des Handwerkers Henry Via, der unter anderem als Maler tätig war. Der Sohn arbeitete nach der Schule einige Zeit im Textilgewerbe, ehe er sich für ein Studium an der Virginia State University entschied. Über das ROTC-Programm gelangte er im Jahr 1980 in das Offizierskorps des US-Heeres. Dort wurde er als Leutnant dem Fernmeldewesen zugeteilt.
