- جائزة كلود شانون هي جائزة علميّة تمنحها جمعية نظرية المعلومات التابعة لمعهد مهندسي الكهرباء والإلكترونيات تكريماً لأصحاب المساهمات المتسقة والبارزة في مجال نظرية المعلومات. سُمّيت الجائزة على اسم عالم الرياضيات الأمريكي ومؤسس نظرية المعلومات كلود إ. شانون، والذي كان أيضاً أول من حصل على الجائزة. وتُعتبر جائزة كلود شانون جائزة علميّة مرموقة في مجال نظرية المعلومات، وتغطي المساهمات الفنية التي تتداخل فيها عدة مجالات في آن واحد، وهي علم الرياضيات وهندسة الاتصالات، وعلوم الحاسبات النظرية.
