Cinema Jenin is a movie theater in the Palestinian city of Jenin, located in the West Bank. The new building features plush seating that can accommodate more than 300 people, an outdoor café, art gallery space, a children's park and playground, and a library that is sponsored by the German Goethe-Institut. The library and cinema will offer cultural exhibitions and German language classes. It replaced a cinema that closed in 1987.

- Cinema Jenin war ein Social-Entrepreneurship-Projekt, das ein deutsch-palästinensisches Team in der Stadt Dschenin im nördlichen Westjordanland betrieb. Es hatte unter dem Claim „Ein Kino für den Frieden“ neben der Wiedereröffnung des einzigen Kinos der Stadt auch die Vermittlung der Idee eines kreativen und gewaltlosen Protests und die Etablierung einer regionalen Filmindustrie zum Ziel. Die Idee war aus dem Film Das Herz von Jenin hervorgegangen. Initiatoren waren der deutsche Regisseur Marcus Vetter und sein Protagonist Ismail Khatib aus Dschenin. (de)

- El Cinema Jenin es una sala de cine y organización cultural no gubernamental situada en la ciudad palestina de Yenín, en el norte de Cisjordania. El cine fue inaugurado en 1958, y era considerado como el mayor cine de Palestina. Al inicio de la primera Intifada, en 1987, fue cerrado por las autoridades israelíes y permaneció abandonado durante 23 años. Con fondos donados por organismos extranjeros, en particular por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Alemania, y gracias al trabajo de voluntarios de la ciudad de Yenín y de varios países, el cine reabrió sus puertas en agosto de 2010. The cinema is located in the heart of the city, next to the old church, the market (suq) and the main transportation routes. The old cinema had 250 seats on the first floor and another 200 on a balcony. The cinema is not without its critics. Many Palestinians boycotted the cinema, claiming that unmarried men and women slept together in the cinema's guest house, and drank alcohol there. Audience numbers dwindled. Following death threats that were circulated in the mosques in early 2011, many foreign nationals were evacuated from the Cinema Jenin project, at the request of their governments. (en)
