The Chief Minister is the head of the provincial government alongside the Chief Secretary. The Chief Minister of Sindh is elected by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh and is the leader of the provincial Legislature. The office of Chief Minister is located in Karachi, the capital of the Sindh province and is known as the CM Secretariat. The CM Secretariat is headed by the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister (PSCM), who is either a BPS-21 grade or BPS-20 Grade official. The current Principal Secretary to Chief Minister (PS to CM) is Sajjad Jamal Abro.
