The Catholic Church in Kuwait is part of the worldwide Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope in Rome. There are over 140,000 Catholics in the country – representing about 6% of the population. There are no dioceses in the country, but Kuwait falls under the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia. The superior was the Italian bishop Camillo Ballin until his death on April 12, 2020. There was a cathedral in Kuwait City dedicated to the Holy Family. However, this church lost its status as a cathedral after the apostolic vicariate moved its headquarters to Bahrain.

- L'Église catholique du Koweït est une minorité dans un pays islamique. L'origine de l'église catholique au Koweït remonte à 1945, quand des Carmélites ont établi une mission. La mission compta jusqu'à 700 croyants en 1948. Le 29 juin 1953 le Koweït est séparé du Vicariat apostolique d'Arabie dont le siège était à Aden. Le 2 décembre 1954 le Koweït devient un vicariat avec un évêque. En 2011, ce vicariat devient vicariat apostolique d'Arabie septentrionale avec juridiction, en plus du Koweït, sur l'Arabie saoudite, le Qatar et Bahreïn. (fr)

| - حسب دراسة مركز بيو للأبحاث عام 2010 بلغ تعداد أتباع الكنيسة الرومانية الكاثوليكية في الكويت حوالي 230 ألف شخص، أي ما يساوي نسبة 6% من مجموع السكان، وتُعد الكويت جزء من النيابة الرسولية لشمال شبه الجزيرة العربية، يذكر أن كنيسة العائلة المقدسة في مدينة الكويت كانت مقرًا للنيابة حتى عام 2012 حيث تقرر نقل مقر النيابة من الكويت إلى البحرين. وتملك الكويت العديد من الكنائس الكاثوليكية في أراضيها منها كنيسة العائلة المقدسة والتي تعتبر مركز أبرشية العائلة المقدسة في مدينة الكويت. وتضم الكنيسة الرومانية الكاثوليكية أيضًا أبرشية القديسة تريزيا في السالمية، وأبرشية القديس دانيال كمبوني في جليب الشيوخ وأبرشية سيدة الجزيرة العربيّة في الأحمدي. منذ عام 2012 أقام الرهبان الساليزيان مدرسة تُدّرس في اللغة الإنجليزية. تتكون الجالية الكاثوليكية من الآسيويين بشكل خاص من الهند، والفلبين، وسريلانكا، وبنغلاديش، وباكستان، والمسيحيين العرب من لبنان، ومصر، والأردن، وفلسطين وسوريا. المسيحيين الموارنة، ومعظمهم من لبنان. يقطن في الكويت أقليّة مسيحيّة كاثوليكيَّة محليّة مُشكلّة من الفئات ذات الدخل المرتفع، والتي يغلب عليها الطابع التجاري. The other parishes are St. Thérèse Parish, Salmiya, Our Lady of Arabia Parish, Ahmadi and St. Daniel Comboni Parish, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. In 2002, the Salesian religious order started an English language school in the country. There are also some churches belonging to the Eastern Catholic Church: the Syro-Malankara Catholic Community, Syro-Malabar Holy Family Cathedral Parish, and the Patriarchal Vicariate of Kuwait which belongs to the Melkite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch.
