Cordless Advanced Technology—internet and quality (CAT-iq) is a technology initiative from the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) Forum, based on ETSI TS 102 527 New Generation DECT (NG-DECT) European standard series. NG-DECT contains backward compatible extensions to basic DECT GAP functionality which allow bases and handsets from different vendors to work together with full feature richness expected from SIP terminals and VoIP gateways. CAT-iq defines several profiles for high quality wideband voice services with multiple lines, as well as low bit-rate data applications.

- La Technologie avancée sans fil - internet et qualité (Cordless Advanced Technology—internet and quality, CAT-iq) est une technologie initiée par le forum DECT dans le but de proposer de nouvelles capacités, pour les téléphones fixes domestiques, orientées vers la technologie sans fil et vers une haute définition des communications vocales. Selon le niveau de spécification supporté, les terminaux peuvent proposer la téléphonie haute définition (profil 1.0), le multi-ligne (profil 2.0)... Cette technologie permet en particulier à la Livebox Play et à la Freebox Révolution de servir de base de connexion pour les combinés téléphoniques DECT compatibles.
