Branka Maria Ladanyi (September 7, 1947 – January 30, 2016) was a physical chemist, who spent her career in the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University. Her research focused on structure and dynamics of liquids, broadly defined, which she studied using theoretical and computational techniques. Ladanyi was the first female associate editor and then the interim editor-in-chief of Journal of Chemical Physics from 2007 to 2008. In 2015 the Journal of Physical Chemistry published a Festschrift celebrating the career of Branka Ladanyi.
