Bergsøya is an island in Gjemnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located near the junctions of the Freifjorden, Kvernesfjorden, and Tingvollfjorden. The highest point on the 8.7-square-kilometre (3.4 sq mi) island is the 278-metre (912 ft) tall mountain Varden.

| - Bergsøya is an island in Gjemnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located near the junctions of the Freifjorden, Kvernesfjorden, and Tingvollfjorden. The highest point on the 8.7-square-kilometre (3.4 sq mi) island is the 278-metre (912 ft) tall mountain Varden. The island is connected to Kristiansund Municipality (to the north) and the mainland part of Gjemnes Municipality by the Krifast network (a network of 2 bridges and 1 undersea tunnel). It is connected to the mainland in the west by the Gjemnessund Bridge, to the island of Frei (and Kristiansund) to the north by the Freifjord Tunnel, and to the island of Aspøya in Tingvoll Municipality to the east by the Bergsøysund Bridge. The European route E39 highway runs across the island via the two bridges and Norwegian National Road 70 runs across the island and into the Freifjord Tunnel. (en)

* Der Freifjordtunnel in Richtung Norden unter dem führt zur Insel Frei (Kommune Kristiansund). Er ist 5086 Meter lang und liegt am tiefsten Punkt etwa 130 Meter unter dem Meeresspiegel.
* Die Bergsøysundbrücke in Richtung Osten führt zur Insel Aspøy (Kommune Tingvoll). Sie ist 845 Meter lang und eine weltweit einzigartige Schwimmbrücke. Seitdem führen zwei Fernstraßen über die Insel:
* Die Europastraße 39 kommt aus Richtung Bergen über die Fähre Vestnes – Molde, führt über die Gjemnessundbrücke nach Bergsøya und weiter über die Bergsøysundbrücke zur Fähre Kanestraum – Halsa, weiter in Richtung Trondheim. Sie verläuft parallel zur Küste.
* Die Reichsstraße 70 führt von Kristiansund durch Freifjordtunnel nach Bergsøya und weiter über die Bergsøysundbrücke in Richtung Südosten bis Oppdal, von wo eine Europastraße in Richtung Süden nach Oslo führt. Damit wird seit 1992 die ehemalige Fährverbindung Høgset – Kvitnes ersetzt. (de)
