Bavil Rural District (Persian: دهستان باويل) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Osku County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population (including Sahand, which was subsequently detached from the rural district and promoted to city status) was 23,318, in 6,801 families; excluding Sahand, the population (as of 2006) was 9,708, in 2,879 families.
