Babe (Serbian Cyrillic: Бабе; translation: Grandmas) is a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1992. Babe was formed as a supergroup, consisting of vocalist and guitarist (of Bajaga i Instruktori), vocalist and drummer (of Električni Orgazam), guitarist (of Riblja Čorba) and bass guitarist Bojan Vasić (formerly of Bezobrazno Zeleno). During the recording sessions for the band's debut album, Vasić left the band and was replaced by Dejan Škopelja (formerly of U Škripcu). Initially a side project for Milenković, Čavajda and Vasić, Babe gained large popularity with their debut album. However, their second album did not see the same success. Čavajda left the band after the album release, and the band released another studio album before ending their activity in 1999. Babe reunited in 2013

(ja)
