The historical Armenian Evangelical Church (Turkish: Ermeni Protestan Kilisesi, Armenian: Հայաստանեայց Աւետարանական Եկեղեցի) is an Armenian Evangelical church located in the centre of the Turkish town of Elazığ (Mamuretül-Aziz), next to Kharpert. After being abandoned due to the Armenian genocide, it has been used as a public toilet. Interior frescoes of Jesus and Mary are heavily damaged but can still be seen. The entrance is damaged and there is no roof left.

| - Die Armenische Evangelische Kirche (türkisch Ermeni Protestan Kilisesi, armenisch Հայաստանեայց Աւետարանական Եկեղեցի Hajastaneajz’ Awjetaranakan Yekeghez’i) ist ein historisches Kirchengebäude der armenisch-evangelischen Denomination im Stadtzentrum von Elâzığ. Das Gelände der Kirche wird zurzeit als Parkplatz genutzt. Die Evangelische Kirche wurde im 19. Jahrhundert noch zu osmanischer Zeit errichtet und nach dem Völkermord an den Armeniern von 1915 von der Mehlfabrik Arpacı genutzt. Später wurde es als Markthalle und Ziegenstall verwendet. 2007 wurde angekündigt, es in ein Krankenhaus umzuwandeln, was bislang nicht umgesetzt wurde. Derzeit gibt es Pläne, an dessen Stelle ein Hotel zu errichten. Obwohl es seit 1973 in der Denkmalschutzliste der „Bezirksdirektion für Kultur- und Naturerbeschutz von Diyarbakır“ (Diyarbakır Kültür ve Tabiat Varlıklarını Koruma Bölge Müdürlüğü) aufgeführt wird, wurde die Kirche dem Zerfall überlassen. Das Dach ist eingestürzt, die alten Fresken über der Apsis sind schwer zu erkennen. Der Eingang ist beschädigt. Einem über dem Chor stehenden E-Buchstaben in armenischer Schrift zum Trotz wird es in der Schutzliste weiterhin unter dem Namen „Assyrische Kirche von Elâzığ“ aufgelistet. (de)
- The historical Armenian Evangelical Church (Turkish: Ermeni Protestan Kilisesi, Armenian: Հայաստանեայց Աւետարանական Եկեղեցի) is an Armenian Evangelical church located in the centre of the Turkish town of Elazığ (Mamuretül-Aziz), next to Kharpert. After being abandoned due to the Armenian genocide, it has been used as a public toilet. It was built in the 19th century and constituted the headquarters of this church for Elazığ. After the Armenian genocide, the church was used as the Arpaci Powder Industry Fabrique, then as a playground for children, and marketplace and shelter for animals. Despite its Armenian identity it was described as an "historical Assyrian church" by the Turkish authorities in 1973. In 2007, the Turkish state announced it will turn the church into a hospital, but as of 2014 no change has been made. Because of its location in the centre of Elazığ, it is used as parking lot for cars and as a public toilet. Interior frescoes of Jesus and Mary are heavily damaged but can still be seen. The entrance is damaged and there is no roof left. (en)
