Anthony Harding FBA FSA (born 1946) is a British archaeologist specialising in European prehistory. He was a professor at Durham University and the University of Exeter and president of the European Association of Archaeologists between 2003 and 2009. Following his doctoral research on Mycenaean Greece, Harding's work has mainly concerned the European Bronze Age, including major studies of prehistoric warfare and the .

Tussen 1973 en 2004 was hij aan de Universiteit van Durham. Hierna was hij van 2004 tot 2015 anniversary professor aan de Universiteit van Exeter. Zijn interessegebieden zijn onder andere de bronstijd, in het bijzonder van Centraal- en Zuidoost-Europa en de handelsbetrekkingen van de Egeïsche Zeeregio met Europa en het Middellandse Zeegebied, en de archeologie van het zout. Naast meerdere opgravingen in Groot-Brittannië was Harding onder andere werkzaam bij de opgravingen van de versterkte nederzetting uit de ijzertijd bij in Polen, de bronstijdcultplaats te Velim in Tsjechië en de zoutproductieplaats uit de bronstijd van in Roemenië.
